My Swedish Background...

I was walking up 5th Avenue and kept seeing this picture. It reminded me of my nephew, Max Hendric. And of my dad. I'm glad I took a picture of it because a few weeks later, they demolished it.

And here is our coat of arms:
Ya Svenska!

My iPhone RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!

October 25th, 2007 -- I bought my iPhone which changed my life!!!

Now I can listen to music and sermons on the PATH train, get calls on the bus (and HEAR people). Not to mention YouTube knitting videos, weather, e-mail ANYWHERE, etc.

Earthscapes: Oct 1-30, 2007

Through the beauty of back dating, I can post retroactively!

This group show took place at the Mary Benson Gallery, 369 Third Street, JC NJ. A beautiful gallery. Curated quite well by Jim Legge, The Daylight Gallery.

Here are a few snaps of the work on the wall.

I was very excited about this because it was the first time in this century that I ever showed figure drawings, and first time ever in Jersey City.

October Fest of Shows!!!

I was in three shows for the Jersey City Artists Studio Tour, which all opened on Friday, October 5, 2007 in Jersey City, NJ. The first was curated by Kay Kenny, and took place at the renovated Canco building. The second was Jim Legge's "Earthscapes", which took place at the Mary Benson Gallery. The third was the Pro Arts Members show, organized by Rebecca Feranec and also at Canco:

"Architectural Abstractions ": Canco Lofts, 50 Dey Street

"EARTHSCAPES": Mary Benson Gallery, 369 Third Street

"Pro Arts Members Show": Canco Lofts, 50 Dey Street

It was a blast!
Well, ok, it was a lot of hard work and a lot of stress...
